OEM 22's Powder Coated & on 33" A/T's

I finally received my 22's back from my powder coater, Orbit Industries here in Lubbock, and was able to get the tires mounted and the new setup installed at the house this weekend.

I had stock GMC 20's, but purchased these OEM 22's and the Nitto A/T's off of eBay for very reasonable prices. Also bought a new set of TPM sensors from GM Parts Direct, and haven't had any issues with those yet.

Wheels are 22x9 and the Nitto's are 285/50/22 (33x11.5)

Running a 2.5" Suspension Maxx leveling kit on the front w/ a 1.5" coil spacer in the rear. The new tires added a good solid inch to the overall height, and coupled with the leveling lift, the truck has an awesome stance. After driving a lifted HD crew cab Sierra for three years, it's nice to have a truck that looks fairly aggressive, but still fits in the garage! Need to do light trimming on some of the fenderwell plastic in a couple of spots to eliminate potential for rubbing, but nothing major.

The wife already wants me to re-install the side boards, but I like it better without 'em and I've got a nice crate with a rope she can carry with her to get in.

The lighting in these pics don't do the truck justice, and I'm extremely satisfied with how these turned out. I just thought I'd get some outside feedback and show another powder coat example for any of y'all who might be considering powder coating your wheels.

I appreciate the info from you guys in other threads that helped towards my decision on this particular setup.

I bought mine off eBay, as they were brand new takeoffs from a wheel dealer. I wouldn't reccommend buying directly from a GM store or site, as you'll end up paying out the ass, since GM has always been WAY too proud of their factory wheels in my opinion.

gahhhh put the running boards back on. other than that though it looks awesome. would look so much better with them on though.

looks awesome, but agreed, put the steps back on.

I know I'm in the minority of members who've removed their running boards, but I've personally never been a big fan of side steps, nerf bars, running boards, etc. I've been rather surprised there aren't more people who remove them, but of course, to each his/her own. Looks more like the 4WD that it is without them IMO.

I've looked into the Amp Research Retractable steps, and may consider those on down the road, but looking to install a new air intake and exhaust first.

Looks good and I like it with no running boards. I would take mine off also but I use it quite a bit when camping, plus they help block debris coming off the tires.

That is the exact size I would liek to run. But I only want to do a 1.5" front level. Do you think I would have rubbing issues with just that setup?
