So I wanted to paint my front bowtie to match the truck - but didn't want to deal with painting it..

So I got some outdoor vinyl that is used for signs / lettering etc.. Color match is pretty damn good - and its not against the paint so you cant tell its not 100%

I consider myself pretty **** - and I will say this looks pretty damn good :) - Its on there and even wrapped around the edges very nice. It looked so good I did my wheels too!!

What do ya think?

Looking great! How is it working with vinyl? Is it hard or easy? Would be cool to do a little tech write up on wrapping your bowtie in vinyl so that if anyone else want's to do it they can. Things like where to get it, how do you stretch it and prevent wrinkles, how does it adhere to the surface,.... Stuff like that :waytogo: The cool thing about vinyl too is you can always remove it later down the road if you want :)

Good vinyl is easy to work with. Little heat from a hair dryer and you can do anything with it, just like I did my dash pieces

Im sure a interior shop could hook you up.

Not vinyl for seats! vinyl for wrapping and stuff. Similar to vehicle wraps but on a much smaller scale.

ha!! :Handshake:

I actually know someone who owns a sign business so I may hit them up and see what they got. I'd LOVE to take the "wood grain" pieces in the burb and wrap them in black to match the other black pieces around the "wood grain"
