Just want to ensure everyone is on the same page. GGD is now Rob. I purchased GGD from Chris beginning of Dec. Chris is consulting for me for one year but is really focusing on his full-time job, which is very demanding. My full-time job is a restoration and detailing company. Owning a detailing retail outlet/on-line business seemed like a logical next step/addition.
GGD is now an extension of my full-time job. My wife will tell you that I live my job 24 hrs a day. This is good and bad for obvious reasons. Thank God I married an amazingly understanding and dedicated woman. She will tell you I am always researching, testing products, and thinking how can I help the industry grow.
I am here for you. You can call me for tech advice anytime 8am to 8pm. I will follow in Chris' footsteps but also take GGD to the highest level. I will not tell you a product is good just because I want you to purchase it, that is unethical, and therefore I will not carry products that I do not feel are performing the way they were designed and touted. I purchase and test tons of products every year, I intend to carry in the store the products that I personally use in my restoration business because I KNOW they work, and my standards are beyond the exosphere because my customers demand it.
I want your feedback and input. If you are located in an area that is saturated with members from this board (or others), or just people interested in detailing and you are able to assist me in hosting a training seminar in your area, I will make the trip. I want customers educated in the industry, trained to use the products and equipment, and enthusiastic to be involved. Realize that I can help you achieve the highest level of service whether it is for your vehicle, your family and friend's vehicles, or you are starting your own business.
Please use this thread as your scratch paper for notes, comments, and questions.
There will be an official announcement here shortly but essentially, we are building an entirely new website thus there will be new emails to use, we are adding some top quality products, eliminating some, changing the 10% discount to free products, designing new kits, hosting training seminars, attending shows, etc.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to your insight.
