still stumped with picking socks

hey yall im still stumped on what kind of shocks to get on my 04 Tahoe LT
i do have smooth ride and ive heard people say bilstien and monroe but i have no idea which one will give me the smoothest and most comfortable ride on the streets and especially over bumpy roads..any suggestions from some smooth riding tahoes out there??

My Burb has the smooth ride option and with 196,000 miles Ive had 4 sets of shocks on the front. Obviously the first set was the factory shock which I was fine with, 2nd set was Monroe Sensa-Trac which were WAY to soft and gave the Burb a real "floaty" feel that I hated, had these about 2 months and replaced with shocks from the dealer. 4th set was installed the other day. Bilstein HD shocks which by far are my favorite! Most people say the HD shock is a little to harsh for them so may want to check out the Bilstein 5100 series

This Joe, is a perfect reason for why the original poster should get what you referred because you gave him evidence as to why you think so, and have hands on experience with this topic!!!! :party33:

I 100% agree with what you said and have ran 4 sets of shocks (stock included) like you!!
