I recently installed a Spohn Performance Adjustable Panhard or Track Bar and wanted to give a review for others.
When I was installing some mudflaps on my '11 Tahoe over the winter I noticed the that rear axle was about 1/2" offset towards the passenger side. I do not think that this was hurting anything other than i'm sure the truck was dog tracking down the road and I knew it was off which bugged me. I have a 1.5" lift in the rear of the Tahoe which is part of the issue but i have a feeling that the rear axle was a little off center to begin with from the factory as I don't think that 1.5" of lift should equate to 1/2" of offset. I have had several other GM truck's and SUV's that were not centered under the body from the factory either.
The link below is what I purchased. They also have one with higher quality link ends. Installation was extremely easy. All factory hardware could be reused. I did have to zip tie the E brake cable to the new bar as the factory bar has clips to hold it on. Spohn Performance says this will work for lowering but it also works for lifting. When the unit shipped it was preset at the factory length so all i had to do was add about 1/2" to the bar after installation. I did disassemble the unit to see just how much it could be extended for larger lifts. The adjuster is 5" long and from what I can tell you can safely shorten the bar about 1" and lengthen at least 2". Given that stock the track bar is almost flat this bar gives you way more adjustment than you would need to lift or lower. The bar came powdercoated and the quality of the whole part was great. The adjuster had anti-seize and there was greese in the link ends too. The unit was truely ready to bolt up.
