Keep in mind they are not plug-and-play for Tahoes. You will have to wire them properly, like with Escalade OEM tails.

Ah. I saw "plug and play" in post #2 and assumed we were talking about the Denalis AND Tahoes. What's the diff? I've got folding, signals, and heat (I think) in the mirrors of my '09. Still no dice?

I edited my post - I think it has to do with the switch panels because that's where the mirrors connect.

Tell you what, if you don't mind, pry up your driver's door switch and unplug it, turn it over, and take a picture of the plug ports. Then I'll look at mine and see if we have the same. If we do, they should work.

They would work. You have the DL3 mirrors. Those are the ones with all the features. The Escalade has the same thing, a different exterior design. Electronics are all the same. If you had a more basic Tahoe without all the features, then you have to add wiring and change interior switch panels and sometimes BCM programming.

Makes sense. I might start saving for a pair, but I'm waiting to see if Mr. B can solve the problems he's having with his.

I got the drivers side installed this morning. Everything works as it should, just plug and play on the Denali anyway. I can't find the camera, my wife must have it somewhere. I'll take pics when I find it. I really like how it looks.

My passenger side still won't power fold, but every thing else works as it should. I'm sure it's something in the mirror, not the wiring. Does anybody know anything about these mechanisms? Are there parts I could take out of my old, working mirror to fix this one?

I just read somewhere where a guy who installed new mirrors and switches had to get the new switches "flashed." Don't know what that entails, but it sounds as though the dealer may have to have a look.

Incidentally, the guy who had this done said everything worked fine after the flash.

Ok, here's the link:

Sounds like your situation should be cured by this, too.

Mr. B,
What are you going to do with the old mirrors. I may be interested in purchasing the right side mirror especially if it's already black.
My right side mirror is loose in the power fold joint.
Is there anything wrong with the right mirror? Let me know what you decide.

Here are pics. The gap where the Esky trim would go is actually not as noticable as it appears in the pictures. I'm very picky, and it doesn't bother me much. I'm mulling options of how to fill that gap. I may end up doing nothing.

Thanks for the pics! Now I can't picture what our stock mirrors look like at the bottom... Hmm...

Anyway, did you fix the folding issues? Is everything operating perfectly?

Oh, and is the black portion of the Esky mirrors painted black? Is it smooth? Looks it. I have a black Tahoe, and so I'm wondering how it would look. The crinkled black plastic is ok, but smooth black would look even better.

Thanks!
