Depends on year. 07+ Tahoe and Yukon have small fog lamp housings, therefore the heat from the 35-55w lamps melt them. 07+ trucks like silverado, Sierra, can run the 35w because the fog lamp housings are larger and run cooler.
If all 7 of your trucks are 07+ and you haven't had a housing melt, you've been blessed.
