Ok. Let me try to describe this... I want to use the military style VHF antenna and mount's they used on the humvee's and the M1009's.

I've heard I need the MX-6707/VRC base unit, a AS-1730/VRC and the AT-1095/VRC whip for the Hmmwv style ones but I want to be identical to it to be identical to those seen on the M1009 CUCV. I want to mount it at the rear drivers side like this, 4135460622_3f94ce17c6.jpg

Does anyone know where I could find these things? And How I'd use/convert them for use with a CB radio?

I included some other pictures so you knew what I was talking about.l

There's a possibility that you can find it at your local Army Surplus store. I visit mine from time to time and I've seen military issue CB radios and etc.

Good idea about the surplus store theres like 4 around where I live. Hell yes I am! I use my CB quite often and already have a 102" whip in the rear so I thought might as well make it look cool and get even better use out of it!
