I saw alot of post about these so I ordered one but when it arrived the instructions were very poor with bad illustrations and I was lost. So I thought I'd write it up. The mod took me less than a half hour once I figured out where it was supposed to be mounted and the results were well worth the $53.62 shipped. I purchased the stabilizer/damper from RockAuto. It is the KYB SS15326 for 2003 Tahoe LT.
I began by aligning the provided bracket (the larger of the two provided) with the predrilled hole in the frame of my truck (smaller of the two predrilled holes in the frame just in front of the brush guard on the driver side of the vehicle)
I then bolted the bracket onto the frame (pictures should assist with orientation). You will have to drill a second hole into the frame to fully secure the bracket. I then attached all of the provided hardware to the end of the stabilizer that extends away from the larger bracket I'd just installed.
I got back under the truck and fed the end of the stabilizer (placed the grommet and cupped washer of the end first) that doesn't extend into the larger installed bracket and placed the other half of the hardware onto the end. Next I mounted the smaller bracket to the trucks center link using the supplied u bolts. Before completely tightening all off the bolts I ensured that the wheels could turn all of the way right and left unimpeded.
After doing so I snugged up all of the connections and went for a test drive.
