Just did the free travel mod on my 2010 yukon, ive done it a few times already on the older trucks its exactly the same thing on the new ones. It takes some grinding but its well worth it in the end.

Looks good, done just right.
Too bad I cannot do mine because I am too afraid of my 26s busting the rear fender or A/C lines due to overtravelling into the fenders.

Yeah I did that nick. Trimmed them to being about .4" slim.
It works most of the time, except when going over hard dips.
If I completely took them out I would annihilate the frame bottoming out.

what exactly are yall doing to the suspension/ fender well? I have never heard of t his before

Can anyone shead some light on this mod. I need more travel in the rear cuase it make a loud clunk when i hit mid-large size bumps

Basicly all i did was remove the stock bump stop bracket. you can see in the pictures where it was because I cut just below the weld to remove them, if you look at your truck with thim in and at my pictures youll know exactly what to cut off.
