I'll be honest with you, I don't like them with that color...I think it looks kinda silly. Maybe if your truck was black and you had some smoked ones...then just maybe. It might look better once you're tucking those 35's you were talking about. How long until the truck is yours now?

I like it! I've always liked the heavy duty cab lights style. and I've been wondering why we don't see it more here, but never voiced it.

I think that the clearlights on your truck looks good. It matches your planned front end of being all clear. Yellow ones would look bad on your truck. The clear kind of blends in and doesn't stick out with your blue paint job.

My truck is black, and I would probbaly pick clear or smoked for mine.
In fact, if you do this ( and I encourage you to do so, if you like it) Please make a writeup of how you handled the headliner, the wiring, etc. I'd like to do this myself, but I'm terribly scared of touching the headliner. I think the cab lights would be a nice touch on some of the tactihoes and tactikons here. Thinking of BlackCoffee's rig as an example.

I have horrible memories of my first car, an '81 Malibu 3-speed on the floor with sagging headliner touching my head after some one removed the roof rack. ya, I'm old, I get it. That's probably the only reason that I don't have them yet myself. I look at some 2500's with envy at the cablights.

ive always loved them on the burbs and trucks. regular colord ones wouldnt match the look since i got rid of the stock corners for clear and i think the clears match the silver and dont stand out that much. i can get set of lights from lmc shipped so im debating on it still. need to see if it will look better with truck lifted.

as for when i get it sometime in november when i can do stuff like bl and exhaust. my dad drives it now most the time and ive got all drivers ed done just have to wait to do behind the wheel in novemeber. ive got the clear parking lights on way from ebay should be here soon and going to do stuff like diesel bumper. i could do cab lights now but i cant really have truck all apart for too long and would rather do it now when he dont need truck and i dont have to use it to get to school yet. i was going to put a suburban roof rails on but im thinking of just paintin one on there now and doin cab lights.

How about some TLC for that bumper

x2 on fixing the bumper. I'd do that before putting on the guard or you will just have to take it off and put it back on when you do decide to fix it. Other than that, it looks good, cab lights look stellar, but need a pic of them lit up at night when you get it done. :Handshake:

Yes on the cab lights! Clears would look nice.
IIRC, your getting a new aftermarket bumber for x-mas, so yes, might as well get the push bar too!

If you do the lights, we need a good writeup on the install!

If you do the clear cab lights, have a paint shop spray some clear coat on them. It's amazing how quick plastic will yellow unprotected on top of that hot roof in the summer. I've been thinking of doing that to my Yukon for a while now. You might be the cause of a lot of Tahoes and Yukons getting cab lights.

ill spray them with clear then i hate the yellow light look. i will do a write up for sure when i do them as well.. diesel bumper is what i want to get for it and maybe still use this push bar after i straighten it. glad some people think cab lights will look good. ive had a lot of people tell me not to do it but i like them in clear on mine. wont notice too bad but when all lite up at night :)

and i still have some other stuff to do ext. like raise the rear bumper paint the grill filler piece silver ( its gold if ya didnt notice) and i painted the bowties on door emblems blue to match as well
