Well my Cragar Soft 8's arrived this morning from Jegs. They look pretty boring but for less than $200 for brand new rims I guess that's what you get. It could be worse. Once I have enough money to buy the expensive center caps they will look a lot better. I'm about to leave to go to Muffler Man to get these things mounted on a set of BFG All Terrains I bought off my buddy for $50 a week ago. They don't have a whole lot of tread but they should last me a couple winters.

Ready to go!

I think im gonna go over to my buddys after I get them mounted and balanced and put them on today. Yeah it's not even close to winter but im kind of anxious to see how they will look, and I wanna make sure they won't rub on the calipers. More pics to come!

Welcome to the pimpin' club. Glad you're dropping those thug rims for winter...at least you'll look cool for a few months ;)

winter rims already? It's not even fall.

I'd ride on my 22's for a couple more months if I could, but my front 2 tires are getting preetttttyyy bald. I'm gonna try and sell them over winter so im not trying to have one blow out on me or anything, that's why im changing them out so early.

But I went to get my new rims mounted and balanced like I said today and it turns out the tires I bought off my buddy were JUNK. The guy at Muffler Man was showing me how there's cracks all over the tire, which there are and I just hadn't really noticed, and if I was to put them on id be lucky going a couple months without a tire blowing out. They are so bad that he told me if I went to another tire shop down the street they would most likely refuse to mount my rims on them. So my friend is giving me my $50 back and in the meantime I have to look for some different tires. Great!
