**** those are pretty bright! Do they light up a good area behind you? Was thinking about doing the HID reverse mod but this might be just as good!

Yes they are pretty damn bright! Much better than the ones I had before, but like sumo said HIDs are king! lol

Those do look nice & bright. Please share and provide the link! I want some!
I got them from v-leds.com, here's the link: http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/...-LED/V-LEDS-6K-HID-WHITE-20-p6417548-1-2.html

Thanks man, and yes these dont touch HIDs lol.

Appreciate all the comments guys, and anyone else looking to do this: this is a super easy upgrade and it improves your back up vision so much. Just need to take out the 2 screws holding the tail lights in, then 2 bolts on the back of the tail light and your in. Just plug n play from there! :)

Thanks for the link! They are sold out though. I'll try again in a few weeks.

I have some dumb questions about HIDS as reverse lights. Ok, I get that hids are brighter, but...
1) won't they melt the plastic tail light housings?
2) Don't they have the same flicker and warm up period that my front lows have? By the time that the HIDs would warm up to full brightness, I'm already done reversing into my driveway. Wouldn't really bright LEDS or halogens be better than hids because they are instant on? Or is the reverse bulb hid kit also instant on?

IDK.

1 No they wont melt. Mine havent yet and show no signs.
2 you dont have to wait for them to fully charge up. As soon as you put it in reverse its already Way brighter than stock.
