As many of you may know, the Depo headlights have three pin size holes in the cutoff shield on each headlight. This is supposed to light up signs, etc. but when driving around it gets annoying.
Here is a picture of the dots above the cutoff on Depo headlights:
Here is what I did to remove the dots.
1) Cut the ends off two Q-tips to remove the cotton. Tape them together so it's long enough to reach into the projector to touch the cutoff shield:
2) Locate the three pin holes in the cutoff shield:
3) Mix JB Kwik Weld. This sets in 4 minutes instead of 16 hours like normal JB Weld.
4) Roll the Q-tip's end you taped together in the freshly mixed JB weld. You need to work quickly because it sets fast. Reach in very carefully and cover each of the holes. Set the headlight to the side and do the other headlight.
5) Let sit for 3 hours before you put the bulbs back in. After 3 hours install the bulbs and re-install your Depo headlights.
6) Enjoy your hard work. No more dots above the cutoff:
