I've got obsessive dinging because the system thinks the emergency brake is on. The brake light is lit, the brake is released and all the way up, I've set and released the brake many times and the system won't reset. Worse, I tried to pull the only electrical wire off the emergency brake to no avail, it didn't do anything and now I can't get it back on. First the blinkers, now this. Tahoe is going to dealer today if they can get to it.
The bad part about all of this is that I just sold my secondary car 2 weeks ago because the Tahoe was so reliable and I decided I no longer needed two cars.
Is there anyway to disable to the dinger so I can at least drive to the dealership without the rage inducing constant dinging noise?
