I want to get off my stock wheels and get some big ass mud tires. I am looking to lift my tahoe 6".
Is there a recommended rim/tire to go with a 6" lift?
If not, what do you guys recommend?

Thanks to Slamchops at FSC for this information. He get all the credit for this. I copied this from that site if thats ok. This was a lot of help when I was looking at getting larger tires for my Hoe.

These are only common lift/tire combinations that seem to work well together. Some setups may rub in off-highway situations, but most allow for clearance. Any wheel that is 'not recommended' for that particular height can be run, but is not advisable.

Metric Tire Size Conversion

Keep in mind many 6" lifts will require a 4.5" back spacing to avoid rubbing
