I have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ and would like to change over to the new black plastic pad and chrome strip found on rear of the new LTZs. Does anyone know if I can just replace those two pieces without having to change the whole rear bumper? I do currently have the backup sensors as well.

Nope, different bumper I'm afraid.

The newer LTZ/Nali/Esky step pad and chrome strip will be too big for your bumper.

Does it just stick on to the black plastic lip that is already there? How about the side mouldings? Are they any different or can I just order them, have them painted and use them to replace mine? Otherwise mine came with the chrome package.

Yup, it's a 3M adhesive strip in the back of it.

I used to have it before I upgraded bumpers ... if you line it up right it's passable.

How about side moldings? Just purchase new and have painted?

You mean like the LTZ ones I have?

I so yes ... I have the PNs somewhere if you need them, the plastic needs to be painted and the chrome strip attaches to it and both get adhered with existing 3M tape.

It's rather expensive to get all this done with dealer parts and labor. There's a web vendor called Nordstroms Automotive that folks seem to get all four door moldings for around $150, and sometimes people sell theirs on this forum when they either de-chrome or de-mold their truck.

Yes. Like the LTZ pictured. I have the factory chrome package but would like to add the side moldings with the chrome.

Yep serge is spot on. Did both of those mods on my old Tahoe LTZ and it definitely changed the look of it. Well worth the $$$ if you ask me!
