just wondering what does it cost to smoke the taillights at a body shop ballpark kinda. thanks in advance

I had mine tinted at a window tint shop. They make a specific tint for this. Cost me right at $40.00 for both.

I just used VHT Nightshades. It's pretty tricky getting both sides evenly sprayed dark enough but light enough that your lights still show through. Use multiple really light coats. After it cures, you can LIGHTLY wetsand with about 1500 grit or higher until you achieve the desired result, then buff out.

i did mine side by side just so i knew they were even coats.

Eh..I wouldn't go with VHT...looks dull if you don't have any experience with prep work or spraying.

If you can get them done at a shop, that's what I would do. Around $100

i used vht nightshades on my tacoma lights, i finished them off with a marine high gloss clear coat. they were shiny and perfect for years. im waiting on a circuit board for my lights now and then im going to do it to the tahoe
