I just picked up a 2000 Yukon and I'm going to start with a couple mods along with replacing a few things here and there. But what I'm looking at doing is removing the amber reflector in the factory housing. Can it be done? I swear when I was looking through pics on google I found a couple cleared out stock housings.

Otherwise I'm thinking some black non-projector housing with smoked park lights. The Yukon is red and I'm planning alot of black accents, but I'm thinking that black headlights may be too much :dunno:

Thanks in advance

I've seen it done on this forum somewhere. You're going to have to bake them or use a heat gun. Once you get inside, I believe you can pop the reflector off with a flathead. It's glued on so might have to be kind of gentle.

I have been searching for a couple hours now and am not really finding anything. I remember years ago I tried to remove the reflectors on my Grand Am, internet said they just popped out, but they were glued in place and I couldn't get them off without breaking something. I was afraid that the Yukon would be glued in too, but I haven't found any good info yet, but I keep finding guys that have removed the reflector.
