Is there a difference between it and prior years? If not, it'll work, but you must take it to a Chevy dealer to get it installed and programmed to work with the truck.

Yes please if it will work, I found one on ebay but its from a chevy. Wonder if you can change the Start up screen.

It will not work, the wiring plugs are totally different, unless you figure out how to swap the wiring this will not work. I looked into this for my 2012 Silverado and was told the same thing about using one from a older truck. Take a look at the photos

No I didn't get the navigation as I couldn't find one with nav, 6.2l, 20" wheels ect so I settled on one without nav. But once I get the 1500.00 or so to get the one on ebay I plan on getting one.

I found one on ebay yesterday for 550 but it now... its was from a tahoe. Should have got it lol

Well it looks like I was wrong about this. This website claims it can be done as they have made a harness to make this all work.
