So I had this truck back in From 2004 to 2007, but I still get people asking me about it all the time. So I figured I'd post some pics up...

What did you do to power those 6 Type Rs?
You must like JL because you left them and went right back lol.

You must like JL because you left them and went right back lol.

Just the 2 500.1s that box was built too small so I only had them for a month or so...


Damn that is nice. I too love JL... are those W7's in the last set of subs?

I REALLY like where you stuck that single din head unit. I REALLY like that.

Do you remember how that went for you? It looks good from here!

Did it mount nicely in there (not likely, heres hoping) or did you add some wooden shims or something?

And how do the edges look?! You had to cut the cassette player opening to make it large enough (right?)

I think I want to try this now!! I could keep my stock set up as its wired to the factory speakers, amp, sub, flip down screen, and vcr! and 6 disk dvd player!

I took the metal surround for the DVD player and very carefully cut it out. It had the same tabs like a radio bezel so I just bent hose tabs out and it stayed perfectly. AS long as you fit it right, it fits ok. It wasn't 100% flush, but it fit fine.
