I tried plasti-dip and failed miserably. Since I already had it off I took the piece to a local body shop, and $75 later >>>>>>>> Ta-Dah!!

This is what GM should have done in the first place IMO.

Ok, I was so happy to be rid of the ultra silver bumper insert and then my wife say's "you should paint the bow tie ultra silver" Really??? I just got rid of that color. At first I resisted, but as most married men do (the smart ones anyway) I caved in to her suggestion. All I can say is WOW, I think she nailed it. Im quite pleased with the silver bow tie, versus it being black.
