SOLD
Next up, the incredibly rare authentic Toshiba HIR 9011/9005 bulbs. Toshiba stopped manufacturing these years ago (2009) and there's barely any new ones left available for purchase anywhere. In fact, so far as i can tell, my ebay and hidp sale of this set is the only one around.
I bought them a year ago, but the Tahoe was sold before I had a chance to install them.
These will work on 9005 high beams of 07+ Hoes/Avys/Burbs.
The little red marks designate where they need to be notched to fit in a 9005 socket.
A little more information on HIR bulbs for those who may not be familiar with them: http://hirheadlights.com
As opposed to the later Philips version, these have a true infrared coating which generates the additional lumens.
These are brand new and have never been fired.
One last note ... if you drive mostly in an urban/suburban environment, other that for bragging rights, these are not the bulbs for you. The infrared coating takes time to come up to full temperature and reach full output. So if you're only flashing or using your highs in short increments you will not make use of their full potential. If however you live/drive in rural areas where your highs are on for a long time, then these are probably the best halogen bulbs ever made.
$90 shipped.
