What's up everyone?
I just picked up my first Yukon today at an auction for (what I hope was) a decent deal. It's a 99 model Denali 4wd (are all Denali models 4wd?) with 129k miles. The body is in decent shape. The front doors need some work (I'm hoping it's just hinge bushings like an S10), the interior needs some love, and the motor has a dead miss on at least one cylinder. Also, the A/C blower doesn't work up front, so I don't know if the A/C works or not.
A bit about myself:
I'm 24, and a gearhead. Never been much for modern muscle, but I do love the classics. I've always steered more toward the imports when it comes to daily street beaters. I've always been partial to the old Datsun Z cars and my 240s. Nowadays I rock a '94 Prelude which is an awesome car. Unfortunately, it came from Nebraska, so it has rust issues... and 226k miles on the stock motor means I needed a second vehicle just in case.
Anyways, I couldn't pass up the Yukon when the bids stopped at $1600. Here are some pics. My other car tried to photobomb it, lol. Ignore the stupid aftermarket badges. They're terrible.
I do have some questions after doing a bit of reading... but one important one, my Yukon is considered OBS, right?
