:hunter:So It's been months since I posted anything about my ride, mainly because I haven't really done anything to it, but today I was cruisin on Ebay and decided it was time to spend some cash. Bought the fully loaded HD Mirrors (for looks, and FUNCTIONALITY... got to tow a boat to the lake in the summer :) ), and some really really good looking LED stock style tail lights. Can't wait to get them in to try them on and post some pics!!! First thing i'm going to do when I get em is level the mirrors :poker:

Anyway, since I bought the hoe stock, I did a 1.5 to 3" torsion and block lift, threw 25" Nitto A/Ts on it, tinted the windows, all the back is 10%, the front is 35, threw some 8000k HIDs in them, and most recently I installed 2 Pioneer 12's with a 1000watt Pioneer amp, with a homemade ported box. Can't wait to see how them HD mirrors look on the "Rig." It's going to make pulling the boat to the lake a freakin breeze compared to those stock mirrors.

I put these on last week. I believe they are the same model (K Source brand) as the eBay auction listed above. I like the way they look. It's been a little odd getting use to them when driving as there are two mirrors per side; the tall narrow field on top and the manually adjusted wide view on the bottom.

In my opinion there are a few drawbacks (not enough to change them back though!):

-You lose the puddle lamps (if your factory mirrors had them). I've seen on a forum where a guy added them to tow mirrors however.

-You lose the power folding function (if factory equipped); I imagine it would take a pretty strong motor to fold these bad boys in.

-They are a flat black which if fine by me but you have a Z71 you will lose the matching paint that is on the factory mirrors.

-The upper parts of the mirrors are powered. The lower are manual. You use both when driving, towing, and reversing. It takes some patience getting the lower ones in a position that's suitable for all-around driving.

-If you live in a place with a narrow driveway ... well, I can speak from my experience, drive carefully! (Ask me how I know ... :insane:)

P.S. The brown spot in the 2nd thumbnail is a leaf ... not rust! :roflbow:

Do you have the driver memory feature? (aka Where you can save seat & mirror positions for two different drivers.) If so, have you had any success in getting the tow mirrors to save your desired positioning?

I've adjusted the power portion the of mirror and have held down the button long enough to "set" the position memory. When I press it again (to adjust mirrors and seats to the stored position), the mirrors move to a position not even close to what I set (the seat does however). It does not matter if I change the positioning of the mirror in-between setting it and "recalling" it.

Perhaps I'm overlooking something; the wiring harnesses are plugged into the correct places.

I bought mine from amazon.com as they had the cheapest price I could find for the pair. They were $245.97 for the pair when I bought them. They are KSource part #: 62075-76G (pair)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005H12QXG/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Just as a comparison, Cabela's has them for $204.99 each! http://www.cabelas.com/product/Auto-ATV/Trailering-Performance/Mirrors%7C/pc/104796180/c/104780880/sc/104455980/KSource-Extended-Replacement-Mirrors/1191414.uts

Amazon is out of stock right now, however, you can order them now and they will email you them when available. You will not be charged until they are shipped. The current price on Amazon is $248.09.
