So tell me how you would feel...

Last night I dropped off my Yukon at the dealer. I dropped off my 9,500 mile 08 Yukon at the dealer because the passenger door lock does not work, the auto start does not work, and there is an oil leak. This is on top of a transmission reseal at 2,500 miles. My wife followed me in my 225,000 mile Toyota Landcruiser. Irony.

Get a call, the rear main seal on the engine is leaking. They are dropping the tranny and replacing it. How effin lame! This is my last American vehicle. I'm actually thinking about picking it up when done and trading it in for something that will not fall apart. I thought "well, I'll give GMC a shot, can't be all that bad right?" I guess I learned my lesson.

Pisses me off because I want to buy American, but ******** if I'm going to be a dealer rat with that box of crap. Stupid Toyota with 225K is running the original tranny and the rear main does not leak. THAT is what I expect, not 9,500 miles and BIG expensive jobs already. Yes, it's under warranty but what do you think I expect in 40K miles???!?!??!?!?!?

But damn it looks good. <- Getting to the point where I could care less. :Plugged:

my 03 has 160k with no issues and my last jeep gc had 275k when I sold it and now has 320k and doesnt burn a drop of oil and is all original! sometimes shit happens, I bet the thousands of toyota owners that had sludge build up seizing their motors fel the same way you do now. maybe apply for the lemon law and get a new one rather than dealing with the bs, either way, hope it works out for ya.

I hear ya, but here is the deal. I'm a loyal Toyota owner, it's all I've owned since I was 15 1/2 (minus one other try). I decided that I would give GM a shot. THIS is my experience. Wonder why Saturn is shutting down today? I tried it twice over the years to go American and both times, I've been burned. Wait, I do still own American, 69 CJ5, but that was made by a company that no longer exists.

Don’t let one bad egg ruin the whole company for ya. Every car maker has a lemon every once in a while. If they were all as ****** as yours none of us would be on this site. Good luck man. I would ask for a lemon law

Nissan cars all the way for me, but after hearing all the new GM horror stories, i may try a new Ford F150 when it's time.

Im honestly agreeing with lvyukyuk here, I think the yukon will be my last Gm. I have been a loyal GM buyer since I could drive. But Ford seems to be hitting the nail on the head these days. I think when the time comes for a new suv (I like to trade up every 4 years or so) it will be a 2011 or 2012 lincoln navigator EL with the 5.0 coyote engine. Sorry Gm, Should not have been dicks. Also the silverado I will keep, But It will be turned in to somthing more off roady and I will have a shiny new f250 powerstroke to take its place when the clock turns 112k miles (im at 86k now, 112k miles is some gay rule where my insurance goes up for business use since its an older vehicle)

The escalade is rap star drug dealer. While the lincoln navigator to me speaks the image I want to cast, Sucessful, important business person. Then have the mustang to play. And the f250 to work. O boy. I cant wait!!!!!

I like my Tahoe personally, but as for my mom I agree with RT.

I constantly wish that she would have bought the Navigator L instead. Much better interior, I still can't tell if the Escalade wood is real or fake. Most likely fake just like the Tahoe/Yukon wood.

She went from a 2006 Navigator Limited Edition, to an 07 ESV, just because she though the Navigator had too much chrome on the front, as well as ugly tail lights. I told her she should change the grille and smoke the tail lights! Haha. But as for the Escalade, it looks okay on the outside, but that's all there is to it. I miss the Lincoln. :(
