Ok I have a 1999 GMC Yukon Denali, 4WD, 350 (5.7), with rear and front AC. The problem I'm having is with the front AC. The front AC isn't blowing out cold air at all, I'd say its working like 60% of what it is capable. But on the other hand, the rear AC is working as it should and blowing out cold air. When I turn on both front and rear AC, the front AC seems to blow out colder air, but as soon as I turn off the rear, the front AC turns back to its 60% stage.

Anyway I recently closely followed the instructions on refilling my AC, but this didn't seem to fix the front AC. Am I missing any steps to fixing my front AC? Do I need to charge or is there a way to charge the high port?

Ive already had my mechanic, look for any leaks for cracked lines, and it showed up negative. So now I'm stumped.

unknown at this time.
Either you orifice tube for the front evap is screwed or the charge is off high or off low. You should have the mech do a performance test to zero it in and expose any issues in the system.

Oh, and never charge the high pressure port. Unless you have the skills on havc like I do you can likely do some physical machine damage and possibly bodily harm.
