I like the idea of having an extra battery with me. Not sure if I want a true dual battery setup (I run a sub/amp, but its nothing extreme) or just a second battery in the engine bay that I can switch to if one battery dies on me. How hard is it to fit an extra battery in the engine bay on a 5.3 NBS?

Thanks

Very easy. They sell kits that have all the wiring and stuff. I would go on the passenger side by the firewall. I believe the 2500 burbs come with dual set ups.

I have a second battery but it is just for the my system.

Does anyone know exactly which parts I need to mount the battery? I been searching and some part #s listed in old threads don't show up on parts sites like gmpartsdirect. Anyone know what I need off this? I want to get started on the project. Thanks
