I took my Yukon in to get my dual exhaust installed. they removed my catalytic convertor and the oxygen sensor is alarming is there any way to get that cleared. I need help because he did some illegal shit and its on my Denali. Taking the cat out improves performance but the oxygen sensor is a question I have. Please help.

I also would love to know what you asked him to do exactly? Also did he wire up ML adaptors?

2nd that. Also, removing the cat doesn't do much anymore to these vehicles.

I asked him if he could put dual exhaust on my 2004 Yukon xl Denali and he said he cant go out the back because the Auto ride compressor was in the way. He said there is no way to put dual exhaust on so I scratched him off my list and went to another place and asked for dual exhaust and he said he coul put dual exhaust if he removes the Cat Converter and run the dual exhaust would run out near the year wheels, actually in front of the rear wheels. That made me ask you guys because I thought it was illigal?

Uhhh... what exactly did you pay him to do?

I haven't paid anyone yet Im still looking for a straight and legal exhaust shop who does good work.

Some places require cats for emissions..only you would know if you need that for emissions..or if you tell what area/state you live in someone may know.

As far as the exhaust goes...you can run cats and duals in front or behind the rear tires or wherever you want with little problems. The only difference is how long/short certain pipes are, this shouldn't be a big ordeal for a damn exhaust shop.

Is it installed or are you still looking?

There are kits from almost every exhaust manufacturer. Gibson doesn't list any restrictions on trim levels or options - It says tahoe, yukon, escalade.

Any competent exhaust shop should be able to bend up something but that may get expensive with the labor.

Good luck!

Somebody makes rear O2 simulators to keep the codes from popping up or have a mail order tune done to keep the SES light from coming on. Not a big deal either way, and it doesn't effect performance regardless.
