Trailer brake controller

I have an 06 Denali XL. I was wanting to tow a trailer and car this weekend. I'm borrowing a trailer with trailer brakes and I'm wanting to hook up a brake controller for it. Is there a harness or plug built in for me to plug into? If so, where is it located? If not, how would I hook that up? Thank you

Does your truck have a 7 pin jack by the hitch? If so, it may be pre-wired. Look for a harness around the drivers firewall, inside. If memory serves, it would be a female 4 pin flat connector.

Hmmm, I have an '03 Yukon with the 7pin in the back, Would I have this connector as well?
