Going to install friday/saturday. I cant wait, already got the material for gap guards and paint for the frame. I ordered the 3" summit kit, it was a good buy with front and rear bumper brackets. I just want a little more room to keep the 33's from rubbing the front a hair even after some trimming, I dont do a lot of off roading, just use it for hunting basically. Im due for some new tires so need to get this out of the way first.

how long should it take me? I got a shop, air tools, etc...it looks very simple. I think I can knock it out in a couple hours easy. Any tips appreciated.

Here she sits now, Ill update with pics after this weekend.

Shouldnt be too difficult if you have the lift. A lot of it depends on how must rust are on some of the bolts.

First body lift I did took about 7 hours. All hand tools, and floor jacks, on a VERY rusty truck. Second one I did on a southern truck, with a lift and air tools, took 2.5 hours. Just take your time and do it right.

Should be fairly quick. Just be careful of rotted bolts I had one and took me a few days to get it out til I built a red neck welder and got it out

I would hit all the body bolts with some PB Blast a day before just to help and let it sit over night. Other than that should only take a few hours if you doing it by your self. You got a high lift jack or something to help with lifting the body up? Just take your time and take pics of before and after :)

Going to hit it with PB now, the truck stays pretty clean underneath cause I pressure wash it under there often. But thats a great idea. I have a large shop with several good jacks, jack stands, wood blocks, etc...

Yes, done! I crashed last night, I was whooped. i still gotta cut the gap guards and do a little painting but Ill get a couple pics later on today.

It went well, the kit (from Summit) was straight forward and had everything I needed and then some. I had one wiring harness bind a little but took care of that. I used the steering extension but didnt need to touch the fuel fill hose. I was surprised but there was plenty of wiggle room with the factory one.

You used the extension? I didn't and it feels great. I've heard sometimes it has slop with the extension. So you have a rear bumper brackets? How well do the work I might just weld my bumper on
