Here's where I put mine. I removed the nut holding the master cylinder on, slid the bracket over the stud and re-installed the nut. It's easy access to drain and doesn't vibrate like it would if mounted to the engine. I think that's where most of the people that have gotten them from Catchcans.com have them mounted. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I noticed an older car (not in date, but a car I used to own) had bad build up in the tb/intake. I was a but confused as to why it was so bad. I may look more into this. Thanks for information!
Np bud, its all about the PCV system and or blow by that crates this problem.
LS engines have the worst PCV system to date.
Aka, "oil consumption" TSB's..
Its fixable, but most just toss a catch can on and maintenance it, by draining it when needed.

Any good can has 2 things.
A filter medium and a cooling chamber. the larger the chamber, the longer it takes for the hot crankcase gasses to re-enter the intake.
By cooling this gases, it forces the oil to condense and stick to anything it can, aka filter media and the walls of the cooling chamber.
This stops the oilly TB, intake, Valve, Spark plug problem almost completely.
It however does not stop oil consumption problems of a engine.
This design is by far the best.
The longer the anti siphon tube and the more progressive the vent holes on it are, the better it works.
you can build this at home depot if you want.
