i called up airbagit.com. they showed me this kit they have for nbs tahoes that will allow me to keep my 4wd. just wondering if anyone knows anyone that used this setup before?? also i see it comes with torsion keys but the tech said you can take out the torsion bars if you want. what would the difference be????

the front end is HEAVY.. and leaving torsion bars on will assist the bags in getting it up... which has ALOT of advantages as far as wear and tear and even to some extent ride comfort..

The disadvantage is if you leave them in you can only drop it to the level you have the keys set at

btw.. mine are out..

And yea.. that setup looks on point.. i PERSONALLY would opt for better bags.. 600psi bags are sick and usually have a bumpstop in them.. and will last forever.. remember.. even if youre at 150psi.. when you hit a bump this load increases for a second.. and on turns.. one side of the truck is heavier than the other.. so over building your ride will make it last longer..

IM running these

ANY bag by slam specialties is good.. but i personally would go at LEAST 400psi..

FROM WHAT IVE HEARD.. it actually acts like a shock/spring combo.. since its a stiffer bag and WANTS to be at its stock unaired postion.. it has a tendancy to soften the ride.. and act sorta like a shock

Huh, Im interested in this. If it is bolt in then I might have to save and buy it. It looked bolt in because the two top brackets have 3 holes in them.

i was looking at the picture of it with the bag and it looked to be welded in but you could be right. Either way personally i would have it welded on. But thats my opinion.
