P0300 Code, something broken but can't fix HELP

When my previous Yukon was hit and totaled, I had a full size Ford rental for a month. Insurance paid $50 per day, but had a deal with Enterprise where the car only cost them $60 per day. Your dealer probably has a similar deal with a local rental office. Not to rub it in - but I think...

Main Bearing Failure with 6.2L at 3,200 miles

"the cam was moving so much that the cam was hitting the timing cover." That doesn't even make any sense.

If you didnt have a Yukon/Suburban/Escalade, what would be your next choice?

The only truck that is the same size are the Ford/Lincoln offerings. So - that's what I'd be driving, but I wouldn't be happy with it. I've spent a couple of months in the Ford's - the Plantinum Editions even - and they are nowhere near as nice as the GMs.

    Cargo Net

Thanks! Fortunately, it was parked on the street - we weren't in it. (Second car I've had hit while parked on the street - going to avoid it when possible in the future.) The guy hit it with a Ford Focus hard enough to push the truck 6 feet forward into the car in front. I still drove it for...

    Cargo Net

My ‘23 came with the hooks for a net, but no net. Luckily, I removed the net from my ‘17 before it was hauled away (hit by a drunk driver) and it works great.

    2023 Yukon Denali Transmission Issue

I went from a '17 Denali to a '23, and the 10 speed transmission is WAY smoother than the 8 was.

6.2L Rough idle and poor low RPM response

I had an occasional rough idle in my '17 Denali. The dealer ended up replacing the engine mounts at 30,000 miles under warranty, and it never happened again. It was a problem they were searching for at every service.

    2022 z71 tahoe oil leak!!!!!

I can't tell anything from that photo - but your truck is a '22 and still under warranty. If it's leaving oil spots underneath it, that's a warranty issue. Take it to the dealer.

2021 GMC Yukon Denali Oil Burn

Yeah, first you need to figure out if it’s using oil, or if the last guys who changed your oil didn’t put enough in. Otherwise, a mechanic will have a tough time diagnosing.

Stunned!! Denali 6.2 spun a rod bearing at 25k..

Mine seems faster, too. Of course, that may be true since the new engine doesn’t have bad bearings. Got back from a long road trip this week, and it feels nice and stable at high speeds.

Engine Issue 2023 Yukon Denali 6.2L only 4k miles

You're getting way ahead of yourself with thinking of the Lemon Law. That's for problems that don't respond to repeated fixes. Gotta give them a change to fix it first. The problem that gets complained about here is bad rod bearings, but your engine wouldn't run at all if that was the case...

    Rodent Damage

Note that a lot of dealers will want to replace the wiring harness when a rat chews through one wire. I've heard horror stories of $4,000 bills from BMW dealers on this issue. We had a rat chew threw a wire on my wife's Toyota - it was running on one less cylinder - which is a real issue when...

Stunned!! Denali 6.2 spun a rod bearing at 25k..

Doesn't sound like special treatment - that's what any owner SHOULD EXPECT for warranty work. Really, the longest wait period should be the engine heading by truck to the dealer from the factory in Michigan. Good to hear they got it done for you.

Magnetic Ride Control vs Air Ride Suspension

My '17 Denali had just Magnetic Ride Control and rode fantastic. My '23 has MRC WITH the air suspension, and it rides 10 times better. So - Yes!

    2022 Denali oil comsumption

I agree that I wouldn’t accept “this is normal” from a dealer. Try another dealer or call GM. If you can’t get satisfaction, you may be stuck selling that lemon and buying another.
