Contacted Jasper on Sat. pm and had the most informative conversation with Andy. Quoted $3676 for reman 4L80E. Local shop quoted 9.5 hrs for swap out = 1815 +3676 = $5491 plus tax. Deposit and core charge not included.
While I have your attention please let me know what you think about the symptoms of my problem transmission.
The engine starts, seems to run rough. When I put it in gear and press the accelerator the rpm's come up but the transmission doesn't seem to upshift unless I take my foot off the pedal...

Can anyone tell me where I can find left and right lower door panel molding to replace the 1995 vintage GMC 1550 molding that runs from the front to the rear wheel wells??? Thanks
