Sorry to respond late. Tested his fuel pressure, its holding pressure to 0 lb loss after 10 minutes. We removed the vapor canister, it was replaced at some point earlier. Put compresser air into the vapor lines that go into the tank, and it blows back out to the vapor canister line freely...- Hodgeee

Looked through his reciepts from last dealer visit. It shows fuel tank evap system tested ok. Stated common vapor lock symptoms. TTHAT IS CRAZY. Thanks. Not trying to be argumentative, but im not ruling it out. To say it is impossable is 100% incorrect. It does happen to some fuel injected vehicles. It is more common on certain vehicles. If you research it there is a ton of info out there on it, and on tahoes and yukons and...- Hodgeee

Thank you. Mine has all new vapor system and pump, and it does the same thing, just in hotter weather. New injectors, plugs, wires, coils, TB, and new sensors. This was all done at 140,000 miles when i bought it. I depend on my truck to not strand me when i go hunting or camping, out in...- Hodgeee

Ok, he got back with me. After his 20 minute drive home, he parked the truck for 20 minutes, then went to drive it. He stated that the issue was still there, but the mildest its been in this weather. I wouldnt say it defies the laws of physics, if it gets hot enough it can still happen. Ive now found that it does happen from time to time on all different vehicles. Also these have non return fuel lines, that causes direct pressure, leaving no room to push out the vapor. So i can see it as...- Hodgeee

Very interesting. Mine does it a little also, and mine has all new components and vacuum lines plus all new evap components on the tank. I have read that sometimes it still happens with fuel injection vehicles, but very rare. Im real curious to have him fill up with the E85 and see if it...- Hodgeee

Honestly ive run into this before and just bought all new stuff and redid it. I also recommend all AcDelco parts. On Amazon, same as local cost of aftermarket parts. Plus the calipers are usually good for the life. Only replace the parts if the rubber seals get a hole in them or completely...- Hodgeee

Yeah sucks, some vehicles are more prone than others. But its odd that it just started with you. Also putting on the squeelers backwards hurts nothing, just less likely to squeel, but thats super rare. The squeeler should face the direction of spin and be on the outboard side. You should be able to see if there is any spotting by color on the rotors, should be fine. They will usually warp before they get a hot spot, thats when you try resurfacing or reusing a rotor.
