it's a after cat o2. less important, shouldn't effect a:f. the manifold leak will thou, they suck in air and make it look lean so the ecm adds fuel.
I'd say fix that first. if the bolt I'd broken off, they sell add on clamps to seal it up. clear code and go from there.
At least on mine, use tech 2 or others can see both low and high side pressure.
I still fill like something is defaulting the fans on. like I've forgotten to plug the temp sensor in and it turns the fan on max any time it's running. he's replaced it thou, maybe a tranny temp sensor?
I'd buy whatever is a cheapest beater car local to you, say something 500-1000$. fix your truck and then sell the car for what you paid.
if you're stuck on those two trucks, it's a toss up to me. the 14 at 170k the converter in the tranny is about ready to lunch the whole thing if it hasn't...
seems like I remember the v6 was the 3.1? actually wasn't bad for it's time. the iron duke was legendary for its lack of hp. I had one in a 86 Cavalier someone gave to me and we used as a beater car for a while. couldn't hurt it.. but man it was slow haha. it drove itself to the junk yard years...
I have baer erradispeed on my c6, well it came with them when I got it used but I can say they are some quality parts.. many mountains trips/runs, 2 track days.. killed a set of hawk pads at both track days and melted the plastic center cap out of the rim the 2nd time, and that's with brake...
there might be some other codes besides the P codes in the ecm. not all scanners can read them. like my truck has a few codes for seats motors that will only show up on a scanner that can read all 30 sometimes modules.
besides that, I got nothing useful to even guess at
you can read the high side ac pressure with most scanners, even torque app. the low side takes a bit better scanner it's under the hvac live data. atleast on mine.
bag high side pressure transducer isn't a bad guess. would probably have some hvac trouble codes if so, but that takes a good...
I got a racing on highway ticket in my early 20s, really it was a dead end back road at 3am in the middle of no where. not highway involved. on my record with the fbi got life, comes up every 2 years when I got to renew my badge. considering criminal not traffic.
blah.
very nice.. you can do the kwh, not just amps. you be to create a math channel looking at the volt and current.
I think I have the math setup somewhre if you need it.
(VAL{Hybrid Battery Pack Calculated (Volts} * VAL{battery current}/1000)
givin you have both of the other pids loaded. this...
I think I remember @nickstransmission saying if you transfer the TCM over you don't need to reprogram, but I'm also guessing that tranny has to match the TCM you're putting on it. and I don't anything about that side.
if you need to reprogram, it's not the end of the world.
yeah, funny thing that. fram now makes good filters, on the level and even some applications off the same line as the Amsoil filter and the wix lags behind most as far as micron ratings go.
the days of the old orange 2$ fram being the cheapest worst filter on the market are long gone.
but...
