If you didnt have a Yukon/Suburban/Escalade, what would be your next choice?
i have a '22 F150.. with four recalls on it. Took it in yesterday.. and they only could fix two of them. No parts.. I would have easily done another Ford.. but they build a good truck.. but so many errors. Brakes, Windshield wiper motor, power steering cables, and tailgate. The GM.. this is my...- PPK_

Extended Warranty
i did an extended warranty on my last Sierra and this new Tahoe. i do 5yr and 60 month.. gmepp. on one hand yes it is 1300 bucks. but.. everything is so expensive.. about 6 years or so i started it.. cars are so much anymore.. as long as i can get the fifth year with blowing the sales tax i...- PPK_

Should I be hesitant to buy a 2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate?
i have an '23 Tahoe with 3k miles on it. So far no problem... my last one was an '05 yukon.. i did also do a gm warranty to 60k and 5 yrs on this new. $1400. i would do that too. good luck.- PPK_

Dealer Pricing
I did get a '23 in January for $4k off the sticker... and two others were also after it.. i doubt you will see much in Tahoes.. that makes you feel like like a home run. On the other hand.. mine is really a nice machine.. and i did have an '05 Yukon. Big step up in every way.- PPK_

Extended Warranty?
I ended up doing the 60/60 for $1200 at black.. this is essentially adds a couple years to the bumper to bumper. I could have purchased the extended bumper to bumper 60/60 for 1400 At the purchase. But.. this can be cancelled if it is in a wreck or I get rid of it before 5 yrs is up. You get...- PPK_

Did you get your deposit back? I cancelled an order with Vance in Oklahoma… they straight armed me on ANY discounts.. I should not have put a nickel down it… I know.. with a check. they won’t get any more business from me… ended up buying one from landers.. $4k off.. very happy. A 5.3 though…- PPK_

Expedition Max to Yukon XL?
I have a ’22 f150 and a Nov build ’23 Tahoe. Ford tranny is 195 degrees at temp and the Yukon runs 144. ford shifts like a an old drum shifted Honda 90… without using the clutch. It interesting that the GM shifts like butter.. the ford whines a higher too. Not all worn out either.. ford has...- PPK_

6.2 gas vs. 3.0 Duramax, which one to buy?
I ended up with a 5.3 Tahoe. My third 5.3 counting one other Tahoe and Sierra.. oil burners.. good but the 5.3 is better overall. 5.3 with a ten sp is plenty for me.- PPK_

Carjack Attempt??
well.. pictures help.. but given the details it is possible to intercept and copy the FOB signal - like up to 300 feet. The FOB communicates with the truck every minute or so. It takes a few days to create a new FOB and come back and take it. That FOB is 433 mhz so the signal is going to...- PPK_

5.3 Guys, opinion on oil change intervals
i had a 2018 sierra with the 5.3 and i installed a significant magnet on the drain plug.. in theory you ought to find random iron in the crankcase.. i changed oil at 3k and 5k and one 7k and could not tell any increase in iron on my magnet. where on my pentastar 3.6 (lot of timing chains) you...- PPK_
