Door lock actuator
I got another one from the junkyard but still no luck. I cleaned all the contacts and I can sometimes hear it move but not enough. I don’t know where the fuses are. Or the relays. -

Update. I have also replaced the o2 sensor that was kicking the code. No check engine lights and she starts right away now. -

I can’t find that part anywhere. Looks like I’m going junkyard diving!! I will just cut the wires on the connectors and pull it out. -

Probably related, the rear defrost doesn’t work on that window either. I cleaned all the contacts and still nothing. -

My 2000 Yukon Denali has decided to stop opening the rear cargo door with the remote. So I changed out the part and still not working. Returned the part. Also bought a rivet gun to install the part and it busted on the first rivet. Doing all this in the pouring rain. Also maybe related the... -

My 2000 GMC Yukon Denali wouldn’t start this morning. I had pumped the gas 3 times like my neighbor said, and no start. So I came home from work and did what I’ve been doing and cranked it twice and it fired right up. I don’t know why I have to crank it twice but I do. After I start it it will... -

Heat shield
The heat shield on my tailpipe is rattling. It’s the one on top of the tailpipe where it goes over the axle. Is there a way to tighten it. I haven’t got under there’s yet to look at it.
