Forgot to mention, the catalytic converter is also etched. LAPD has a program where you can get this done. The premise remains the same; harden your asset so that it's extra work for would be thieves. Nothing will stop a determined thief; but most move on to softer targets. Sort of like...
Nothing except his/her desire to work harder, not smarter I guess. I had that put on six months ago. It's still on there, so I guess the added security makes it less apt for theft again. That's what security is, right? Thief probably goes on to lower hanging fruit.
Some jerk stoke my goddaughter's Honda Accord catalytic converter. Ordered a lock for it from Auto Accessories Garage and new cat and lock installed. Very expensive fix and I hope that jerk gets craps in his gym shorts. Not sure if they have something for your truck but you can check their...
*dusting off this thread* Happy Monday from Erbil, Iraq :D

I had the same issue when I tried E85 on my 07 Avalanche. Ended up having to get the AV towed (yep, it died) to the dealership, and they had to replace my fuel pump. Truck performed great with E85, but I don't think the fuel system was used to going back and forth between E85 and 93 octane...
