    Eliminating that "lean"

I'll definitely consider adjustable struts if I decide to dial it in even closer to level. Cutting springs is a real PITA, lol. I like the level look and will most likely ride it as is, but leveling it side to side and maybe even a slight rake is doable.

    Eliminating that "lean"

Yes, and believe it or not - the more fuel in the tank the more even it sat. I purposely ran it down to 46 miles to empty today and my right side is closing in on that 1/2 inch higher mark, 1/4 inch higher when tank is full. The only thing that remains constant is the Front to Rear is level...

    Eliminating that "lean"

I removed a short piece of coil in the front right. Now it sets perfectly level front to rear, on both sides -- however the right side is still higher by 1/4 inch. It's unnoticeable by the naked eye, and who knows, maybe another 100 miles in, things will settle. Im happy with it as it sits...

    Eliminating that "lean"

That's exactly what Im hoping will happen, thanks.

    Eliminating that "lean"

Speaking of weight, No need to apologize btw, I also added a full size AGM battery to that extra tray behind the drivers side headlight. I also have a decent sized ported two sub enclosure in the back along with a small crane and a mobility scooter. I've managed to secure most of the extra...

    Eliminating that "lean"

Im thinking a slight reduction in the right front coil will at least make the front even (left to right) and that front left to right shift may have a slight affect in the rear also. The rear springs are brand new now so they shouldn't have the same fatigue the factory ones had. I hope I dont...

    Eliminating that "lean"

Would the panhard bar only correct the rear, or will some of that correction also have an affect on the front? Im 1/2 inch lower on the drivers side in both front and rear.

    Eliminating that "lean"

Since I purchased a 2010 model just 5 months ago, Im gonna have to lay blame on any perceived "weight" issue to the previous owner, lol. But I could stand to loose a few lbs myself.

    Eliminating that "lean"

My 2010 Tahoe LT, like most any other Tahoe Ive seen has that "left side lean" -- mine's about a half inch. I recently installed a set of Eibach Pro Kit rear springs and achieved a perfect 2" drop. The front to rear is almost perfectly level, but made no difference in the 1/2" left side lean...

NNBS BellTech 2" rear drop springs

Im not familiar with "NNBS" -- will these fit a 2010 Tahoe LT without leveling system?

    Sub install factory head unit

I didnt have much input as to method, my shop said that was the best way to interface my amp/sub to the OEM system. That location also made it easier to run a bass knob between the Converter and the Amp itself. I installed an Alpine PDX M1200 to a pair of Sundown Audio SA10s and I couldn't be...

    Sub install factory head unit

I doubt I'll be much help, but this something worth mentioning -- I had the same thing installed in my 2010 Tahoe a couple weeks ago, and just like you said the RCA line output adapter was installed beneath the cup holders. Is there a chance that your generation wiring is different from mine...

    Im back!

Ive already ran 4 gauge, going to add a 2nd battery Thank you -- although I believe you're referring to the '07 in my sig pic I sold a few years ago. Ill be sure to update my sig pic to my current whip as soon as I get the chance. I'm hoping to have at least a couple new Eagle LS2 tires and a...

    Im back!

Sold my 2007 Tahoe Z71 back in 2012, and as of last week picked up a 2010 Tahoe LT. Thought I'd try to "Understand" that Jeep thing, ha ha. Looking forward to "making it mine" in the upcoming months.

    P0171 and P0174 CODES

From my understanding, it takes upwards of 30% more PSI of fuel pressure to start then it does to run. Both my Tahoe and HHR ran absolutely perfect after I finally got them started. The Tahoe had me baffled for several days, trying this and that, to no avail, but I diagnosed the HHR literally...

    P0171 and P0174 CODES

I ended up replacing the in tank fuel pump - it's comprised of pump, regulator, sensors, gauge sending unit (all in one). I debated on doing it myself, cause labor is the real burden in this issue. I had a shop do it, and very glad I did because the first swap ended up being defective and the...

Z71 Ultra Silver bumper insert finally GONE!!

Actually it's just snapped in place. It's not easy to remove and you'll swear its gonna break - but that's how it comes off. Id recommend starting in one of the bottom corners, then work your way across. Try to keep your pulling straight forward, do not pull downward or upward as this will...

Looking for 03-04 - help please

From what Ive read on wiki the doors were standard till 04, but most buyers/dealers ordered the optional hatch style and in 05 the hatch style became standard. I realize wiki isnt always the gospel, but I did find a 04 about 200 miles away with rear doors. I really want at least an 03 or newer...

Looking for 03-04 - help please

As the title states, I want a 03-04 with "verticle rear doors" instead of a hatch. I rarely see these and wanted to know if they were on any specefic trim levels, specefic years, or what's the best way of searching one out besides looking at for sale descriptions or pictures on for sale ads...

    Front axles bent??

Im almost hesitant to ask this, but here goes. I replaced my passenger side hub bearing assembly (front) and once it was all back together, before putting the rim back on, I spun the rotor just to ensure all looked well before wrapping it up and just happened to notice my front axle had about...

    Vibration at 70+ mph

My '07 Z71 rides as smooth as butter until you reach or exceed about 70 mph. Ive had my tires balanced at 3 different shops over the past 6 weeks and finally today the folks at Ken Towery Auto said I had a bad hub assembly on the front passenger side. The driver side hub assembly went south...

I have a pair of Apline PDX series amps under the 2nd row buckets - they fit nicely.

I dare not do this but has anyone ever done something to someone texting and driving?

I recently notice a hottie texting while driving, but I was checking out her boobs, so I kinda felt guilty about causing any fuss since I was probably just as dangerous as she was at the time.

Z71 Ultra Silver bumper insert finally GONE!!

Thanks and the Ultra Silver Dupli Color has held up like a champ. Its been thru 6 months of weather, bug guts, and countless $8 brushless car washes and it still looks good. I might sand it down and add a fresh coat this spring.
