    Extended Warranty

Yes. you can always buy a "service contract," it isn't an extended warranty. The GMEPP is probably the best, and I think the best prices people report getting were from Knapp? Try this link -->www.knappvehicleservicecontracts.com One thing you might consider...take the cost of whatever...

    2022 Tahoe electrical issues again

It is a dealer thing, not a GM thing. "Courtesy" transportation is provided...and there are several programs GM offers the dealers, up to and including the dealer having a fleet of loaner cars they can have in the program, get reimbursed for, and sell. My dealer has a shuttle that will take you...

Tahoe/Suburban Premier seat VS Yukon Denali/Denali Ultimate

The 1996-1999 MY Suburbans had the best seats...was like a lazy boy...actual leather, padded folding armrests...Sure miss those! Probably not as safe...but the arse and back sure loved them.

    Steering Wheel - Too Far?

No, not a feature of this version.

2021 6.2L Escalade Sport ESV - Happy? Your mileage?? Performance Exhaust???

I do not believe the short vs long wheel base on any of these rigs makes any significant difference. I think curb weight changes maybe 200 - 300 lbs...maybe one or two inlaws on board or not. Aerodynamically maybe there is more drag, but doubt it. I have the XL Denali. Have 24000 miles of...

    Steering Wheel - Too Far?

I am also 6’4, and I agree, I’d prefer if the telescoping steering wheel had a bit more travel/reach (away from the dash) as well. My guess is it is a safety thing, keeping you further away from the wheel.

    2023 yukon AT4

Well, you have 5 years and 60,000 of powertrain warranty, surely you’ll get on the highway at some point in the next few years, right?

2021 GMC Yukon Denali Oil Burn

So, I know that hardly anyone does this anymore, but you really should pull the dipstick and check the oil level at every fill up. The “oil life monitor” which is the % oil life sensor in the instrument cluster only tells you the computer calculated life remaining in the oil. It’s based on a...

Has anyone received an OTA update in 2024?

Suggest reporting that to the dealer, its the only way I know of to report bugs.

Can’t find this trim piece anywhere

Yes, if you are looking for that, my guess is it is part of the glass assembly, and you won't find it separately.

Can’t find this trim piece anywhere

In OP's defense...it is in the 2021+ Tahoe/Yukon forum, and looking at the pic, it is pretty clear it is a 21+ GM Full Sized SUV...in the case of the back glass, I don't think it is different model to model. However, generally I agree w/ your sentiment.

Can’t find this trim piece anywhere

Just Searched GMC.com parts, looked for Back Glass...right there.

    Mileage for 21+ Brake replacement

Rear OE Rotors are $97 each Rear OE Pad Set is $92 Rear Break Pad Wear Sensor is $28 (unclear if you need one or two) So, Parts are $342 + Tax if you need two wear sensors. Replace of Pads and Rotors on one of these rigs should be 1.5 hrs book, tops, @$160/hr = $240 $580-600 MAX...and that is...

    Mileage for 21+ Brake replacement

Here is some intersting info: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-10253086-9999.pdf Looks like they changed materials midway through 2022 MY production, to minimize noise...now going back because they wear too fast. For you mid 2022 MY into 2024...be aware.

Has anyone received an OTA update in 2024?

Y171 cured my low blower speed issue and intermittent CarPlay not connecting. But, I do still get the radio cutout, now more like 2-3 minutes after startup vs 2-10seconds. Generally I’m happy w/ Y171

Threshold for extending an extended warranty

I suggest reading the contract and finding out what the exclusions are...the platnium usually is "All parts except..." and then a list of the exceptions. That is pretty clear...its either a part that is excluded or it isn't.

    Intermittent Radio On Start Up

FWIW, I now have an audio cutout more like 1-2 min after a drive starts, vs. immediately. But, my CarPlay connection and the blower thing remain resolved...so it feels better than it was....

Auto Stop / Start Turn itself off?!?!

Mine is doing it less and less now...State of Charge of the Battery is an input into whether or not AutoStop functions. Been doing a fair number of short trips lately...kind of attribute it to that. Did notice it started doing it again after I took a 3 hr road trip... My gut says battery health...

Main Bearing Failure with 6.2L at 3,200 miles

Except, in the case of engines, I am not sure how much of it is made by GM vs suppliers. Guessing the cast block, heads, crank, and maybe pistons and rods are made by GM, bt the latter two could be from one of the suppliers, have heard Federal Mogul does make soem pistons. The bearings, rings...

    Oil consumption between changes

We are all hoping the same; but there definitely more than a few cases of spun rod bearings out there on these things…maintaining well is a great start at extending the life…but if GM built your engine with bad parts, all bets are off

3rd row dome light on with lift gate?

I think they are not the same. Chevrolet says “3 years remote access plan; OnStar and WiFi capable” (blue arrow below) Denali says “3 Years OnStar Premium Plan” and itemizes the included services (red arrow below). The Denali gets 3 years free unlimited data, the high end OnStar Package, and...

3rd row dome light on with lift gate?

I get my navi info from the HUD, so never take my eyes off the road. HC has HUD too, right? All good, thats why there are options for us, Chevy lost me w/ the dash layout, I don't prefer the screen sticking up into nowhere look...and much perefer the front end of the GMC vs. Chevy and didin't...

3rd row dome light on with lift gate?

Actually, there are quite a few differences in the HC vs the Denali, here is what I know is on Denali that is not on HC: Fog Lights Dash Layout Leather Seats in 2nd row, vs fake leather in Tahoe Different Leather on the seats -- forget what GM called it, but its def different (can argue if...
