    Problem going backwards

Check make sure your brake calipers are all bolted in. I've seen calipers lose a bolt and wedge into the rim but only in one direction.

    Upgrade package - exhaust/suspension/wheels

The mpvi3 from HP tuners is $400. The license for my 08 hoe was $100 (different for each generation). I not only shut off AFM but can modify hundreds of other settings for less than this waste of money.

    Problem going backwards

4 wheel drive or 2? Sounds like something in the rear end or maybe in the transfer case if it's 4wd

    Probably need new O2 sensors?

Thanks for the part numbers, saves me some digging. I have heard before to only use OEM, should I get them from the dealer or are the OEM Delco ones on rock auto ok?

    Probably need new O2 sensors?

I have a clamp on the passenger side but I gave up on the driver side, couldn't fit my hands between the firewall. Debating whether or not I want to tackle manifold bolts this weekend. New arp bolts and fel pro gaskets should be here tomorrow. Gonna order some o2's for next weekend.

    Probably need new O2 sensors?

Threw these codes yesterday 5 minutes or so after a cold start. I have a manifold leak so I'm guessing the sensors are probably on their way since it's been running rich. Don't mind the body control code. Working on the oil pressure code, new pickup tube o-ring going in this weekend.

Interior lights not coming on with opening door

So if we're on the same page.... 1) You open a door and all the dome lights come on. While the door is open and the lights are on, you push one of the buttons for the map lights on the overhead console and that one map light goes off. 2) While the door is shut and you're sitting in the seat...

    DOD / AFM delete parts

@BlackBearPerf What if I already have an mpvi3 from HP tuners. Can you guys work with that or do I need the autocal hardware?

    4L60 Types and Differences

Thanks for the information. The transmission in the Tahoe now is still behaving good I just want to swap in a working transmission when this one goes. I'd rather not have to leave the truck on the lift while I rebuild it's trans.

    4L60 Types and Differences

I'm looking to rebuild a 4l60 for my 08 tahoe and i was wondering what the differences are between all the different years. I have two that were behind a 97 and a 98 both 305's, i know the bellhousing is different. I'm just curious how different they are and if i could rebuild and older one with...

    About to install "rebuilt" 4L60E

Do you know of a list that compares them all? I have a 97 and 98 4l60e and was wondering if I could rebuild one with 2008 parts to swap into my 08 Tahoe. I'm assuming the bell housing will be different, the older trans were behind 305's. May just be easier to find an 08 trans used and rebuild that?

Yup I'm a dummy. I was in 07-13 Tahoe and for some reason landed on this post. Disregard me.

    Oil leak. Not rear main

The Amazon link in the same post? It brings up the ict one with no hole.

You still have the link to the one with the hole? I want to add another pressure gauge.

Although extremely sceptical, I commend your effort. You know this is a forum for GM though right? Specifically Tahoe and Yukon.

    Towing stability

Tongue weight should be 10% of trailer weight, including load. "Drops 2 inches" means nothing and is not a good way to judge. Cargo position/weight distribution is key.

looking for wiring diagrams crankshaft position sensor

I agree, sounds like a low voltage issue. I don't think the sensor is actually bad. Never just assume the code that shows on the scan tool is the actual problem. Any good mechanic should know that. When the transmission controller loses communication with the ECU it shifts all stoopid. I'm...

    Tech2 and SPS2 programing

When you say that GM is fixing the cracks you're talking about the gds portion not tech2win, correct? Someone buying a nano today and loading it onto win 10 would have no issues, other than the normal ones, getting it to work as a scan tool. Trying to update controllers is where the issue lies...

2013 PPV Lift Gate Latch INOP (FIXED)

I tried opening my hatch when it was frozen shut. I didn't realize it was frozen and when I pulled on it to open I heard a loud pop. Now when I push the handle to open or try to use the auto open/close it just buzzes and won't open. It does unlatch though. My tech2 says it's the latch. Summer...

    2010 Tahoe warning lights

You need to relearn the new sensors to the truck. They don't just work. Also your service suspension message will never go away until your suspension is put back to factory. Just the way it is. You can clear it with the checkmark button for the dic every time you start the vehicle.

That's what I'm thinking. Couple v-bands and some pipe. 10 minute job to swap.

My hefty lighting investment - worth it - Alpharex and Diode Dynamics

Nice thanks for your input. I was looking at the cheaper alpharex projector low halogen high set. I think they were around $400. Definitely going with the ss3s. Thanks for spending your money for the betterment of the Tahoe Yukon family lol.

    Exhaust/muffler laws, Maine specifically.

It's not the cops that give me a hard time. I've never been hassled by cops even with straight glass packs. It's the inspection stations that give me a hard time. Mufflers and headlights, anything not stock you get "that don't pass". Good luck fighting it.
