So I've been thinking. I put rain x on my windshield and works good. This neverwet stuff is amazing and can be used on practically everything. So why couldn't use this on the windshield. Has anyone tried this or heard of anyone trying it? I really want to and thought about experimenting with a piece of glass and neverwet to see how it turns out. Thoughts?

Hmmm well guess i'll just try it. Is there a difference in windshield glass rather than single pane glass besides the obvious thickness and safety standards?

I'll buy some this week and try it and post the results

There's another product that I've been watching on a YouTube channel that works better it seems. Search HydrophobicGuy on YouTube and go to his channel he tests the products

I put it on a pair of shoes and it does dry frosted. I wouldn't put it on windows. The stuff is amazing though.

I use a superhydrophobic product called Aquapel specifically made for automotive windshields ... works fantastic. http://www.aquapel.com

I have used both.

Aquapel last much longer than rain x.

Proper application is key (cleaning).
