Ordered a set-up that I pieced together myself;

-Denso slim AMP converted ballasts / potted for weatherproofing - TRS
-HD H11 relay harness - TRS
-HD capacitor link - TRS
-9006 extension cables - TRS
-Phillips 85211 4300k re-based to H11 - xenondepot

I'll try to do a full write-up with pics when installation is underway. Denso ballasts come as OEM equipment in Lexus vehicles. Philips 85211 4300k bulbs come as OEM equipment in Toyota and Lexus. My purpose of this kit is to make it as OEM as possible, without spending over $3,000.00.

So, I received all of my items and had the time to install. Install was very simple and straight forward. As others have said, it would have taken no time at all, but my compulsion and obsession to route wires, loom, ties, and grommets perfectly was more important than a quick turnaround. So just to mention a few things I saw/found during install.......

First is I was looking for a place to mount the drivers side ballast. I looked through the hole in the drivers side engine compartment that goes to the outside fender by the empty battery tray. It was completely nasty and dirty. I found a small hole/ gap that the inner wheel wells have that allows all of this crap into the back side of the fender where it will fester for years to come. I plan on filling that gap with something this summer.

On to the install, I didn't like the ridges on the back side of the low beam housing covers. Knowing that this will be the surface the grommet will seal on, I wanted it to be flat or flush. So I used my dremmel with a sanding drum and removed the plastic that would interfere with sealing. I then drilled my holes for bulb/wire pass through.

For the capacitor link ground, it only came with about 8 inches of wire. I cut it off and replaced it so I could reach a factory ground location. I chose the one on the firewall between the engine and brake fluid master cylinder system.

I used Velcro brand industrial strength hook and loop for attaching the ballasts. I was skeptical of this, reading of others doing it. But this stuff holds very well. The passenger side I found a perfect spot between the headlight housing and the radiator shroud. That's also where I routed wiring to and from the relay harness, which fit snugly in the top of the radiator plastic shroud below the main front engine compartment plastic cover. ( I had that off in preparation for Denali grille install after HID install).

Following soon are pics, ask questions if you need.

Cutoff (I have not been flashed once with this set-up. At night when I'm driving on side roads, I can see how the light does not get high enough and into people's faces in oncoming traffic)
