Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. I've got the same sidewall treatment on my Z06 tires, and it wants to fling tire shine if the shine isn't 100% dry.

Anyone know if the Defenders have the same contact patch width as the stock Alenza's? Or wider/narrower?

You need better tire shine then. Any good tire shine will not sling a few minutes after application. Try Adam’s Graphene and apply with an applicator.

Been using Maguire’s gel… Might try something different. Or might just make sure it’s dried well first.
