Cat eye conversation info needed on my tahoe

I have a 2001 tahoe and I'm buying a 2005 Silverado 2500hd front clip will it bolt on even though it's a 2500 I know the bumper brackets will need modification I'm more worried about the radiator support fitting and the hood and finders and also could I use a 1500 grill and bumper instead of the 2500s

The front sheet metal should be the same including core support. Bumper should also work, maybe visual difference only. JMHO, good luck.

i built one but i also did a body lift and re fabbed the bumper mounts to fit the bumper to the grill. i am almost positive the bumper brackets for the vertical height will need to be adjusted

Pretty sure these are different body styles if you want bolt on you need the 99-01 silverado HD front end. The 05 has the more square headlights

You could do the 1500 top bumper cap to gain a little more height from the ground.

That's an 05 front clip which is exactly what you said you were wanting to install. You got me confused now as to what you want to do with your truck
