How to Make my 4Door Z71 a Convertible!! Really

Guys, I have a 1999 4-Door Z71 Tahoe. It's paid for and in good shape. I want to cut the top off of it naturally. I am very serious about doing this, but I'm not sure if this is possible or what would need to be done structurally to ensure it doesn't fall apart. Anybody ever done this? Thank you

I had a friend who chopped the top off of his OBS truck. Honestly, it looked like shit but if you want to do this good luck. Sorry I don't have any pictures it was to long ago when he bought the truck.

In the end he bought a new cab to replace the cut one.

Step 1) Give up.

You'll need to strengthen the frame in order to help prevent flex and still be able to do what the truck was made for -- drive down the road. From there, the problems get bigger and more complicated, thus I'm not going to bother to address them.

On that 2 door it looks ok because it replicates the k5 blazers but no go on the 4 door
