I have a 2004 Yukon xl. I am going to add tow mirrors to it for when we tow our travel trailer. It has the power fold, heated and turn signal with puddle lights. I have not taken it apart to seethe connections but when looking I see some with two connectors and some with just one.
Is there certain years that work and not? I thought I saw 07-14 you would look for but then I saw an add for 03-06 so I'm not sure which to use or if they are all the same.

I have an '05 Yukon Denali with the DL8 mirrors like you, and primarily use it to tow our travel trailers. I looked into the options for direct replacement tow mirrors that kept all the features, but couldn't justify the expense or the look when not needed. In the end I opted to go with a pair of **** 10800 GMC Custom Towing Mirrors.

They install easily and securely, look good, and still fold away at the push of a button when we park on a side street or in a parking lot so I don't bother removing them while we are out traveling with the trailer. When we get home they remove easily and I store them in the camper.

Just thought I'd throw out another option.

Thanks. I do have some that we used on our other tow vehicle that clamp on. They did ok on the other vehicle.

I know they definitely look different and are bigger. Which Both my wife and I did see a Tahoe with the tow mirrors and didn't think it looked bad. With our mirrors the curb assist for the mirrors don't seem to work always. I'm not sure why it doesn't. Sometimes just one of the mirrors rotate to see the curb and sometimes both work. The setting was programmed for both to rotate.

For work I have the tow mirrors and on my trucks that I have used and really like being able to see with both mirrors. I know I will lose the puddle lights and the power fold.

I know this thread is a bit old but I have a question about these mirrors and fitting them to my Tahoe. My Tahoe has power adjusting and heated mirrors but not power folding or turn signals built in. Is that not an option I can add on? I know with most features they are there just not used. So would I just be able to buy a heated power adjusting mirror or could I buy one with a turn signal in it and it work? I have a 2005 Tahoe.
