Hi All:
Been driving myself crazy about finding a set of wheels for my wife's Tahoe. She complains her tahoe looks like everyone elses and looks like a livery vehicle. She loves black 22" wheels and like an aggressive look. She takes our 2017 tahoe out on the beach several times a week (we have a drive on beach) so I want to make sure whatever I get her is good in the sand. I think I've settled on Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/45R22 on a set of Escalade reproduction wheels https://www.amazon.com/22x9-Wheels-...88569&sr=8-1&keywords=oe+wheels+llc+22"+black . looks like the OEWheels site is down but this is what I'm going for. Questions:
- Should I go with 305s instead? Looks like they are ~.6" taller - would I have to replace the spare tire as well? My wife is known for finding curbs so I'd like to protect these wheels as much as possible. I do have a wheel and tire warranty on the vehicle (already used in under 3k miles due to a sidewall puncture (nail).
- Any warranty issues if I go with 305s?
- Any lift needed on the front end? How difficult is it to add the Maxx Suspension level kit? Sounds like 2" is the best to go with?
